Survey now open for radiotherapy workforce

Posted on Mar 14, 2012

The National Radiotherapy Implementation Group (NRIG) is conducting a survey to explore the issues influencing the satisfaction and retention of the radiotherapy workforce.

NRIG is interested in your views and hope to use them to influence future strategies. The survey considers the key factors affecting job satisfaction, including professional development, pay and rewards and leadership.

The survey will be open until Monday 26 March.

The conclusions of the survey will indicate clear areas and strategies where staff, service leaders and organisations can focus attention to positively influence the job satisfaction of the radiotherapy workforce. The report will also allow the identification of case studies of good practice and develop a range of interventions to enhance job satisfaction and improve retention. Understanding these issues and being able to implement actions that improve satisfaction and retention will give greater assurance that future productivity and quality in radiotherapy can be achieved.
