Technical Support Engineer
We are currently seeking a self-motivated professional to assist with the provision of comprehensive service support both for our portfolio of products installed in the UK & Ireland and for our distribution network.
The role involves the day to day service support of a range of radiotherapy software and electro-mechanical equipment including the installation, upgrade, preventative and reactive maintenance and repair of products both remotely and at customer sites. The service support team often provides introductory training for customers in the use of new or upgraded products and is also responsible for the support of the Company’s internal IT infrastructure.
The role is largely field based and extensive travel throughout the UK & Ireland together with some overseas travel will be required.
The successful person will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. Suitable candidates will have an engineering background together with excellent IT skills. Experience of working in a hospital or similar environment is desirable. A working knowledge of ISO13485 for Medical Devices and ISO9001 for Quality Management would be beneficial. Microsoft certification would also be beneficial. This is a key customer facing role requiring excellent organisational, communication and customer relation skills.

Clinical Specialist (Radiotherapy)
Dosimetry & Physics QA Equipment
£35k-£40k per annum dependant on experience + bonus scheme ++
OSL is a leading supplier of high-end radiotherapy products and solutions to the oncology healthcare sector, selling directly to both NHS and private hospitals throughout the UK & Ireland and through a global network of distributors for its own in-house software.
We are currently seeking a self-motivated, radiotherapy professional with practical experience of using state-of-the-art dosimetry & physics QA equipment together with a sound knowledge of treatment planning to support clinical sales in the UK & Ireland.
The successful person will possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team. The role involves demonstrations and training at customers sites assisting in acceptance and commissioning of new systems, attending key scientific and user meetings and assisting with product marketing.
The role is largely field based and extensive travel throughout the UK & Ireland will be required, as well as some weekend working, usually to attend scientific conferences and exhibitions. Some overseas travel will also be required.
