The Orchid Male Cancer Awareness Week is an annual campaign to raise awareness of male specific cancers. Every year over 37,000 men will be diagnosed with testicular, prostate or penile cancer. Yet given the figures there is still limited knowledge of these cancers amongst the general public. Early detection, diagnosis and treatment can make a difference, helping to increase survival rates and ultimately save men’s lives. And everyone has a role to play – whether they are a wife or partner, family member or friend, healthcare professional or employer.
